Adam Hogue came out of hiding Monday afternoon to win his second event on the West Florida Golf Tour this season. His (-4) total of 68 was two shots better than Sam Osborne and Devin Spies who both finished with (-2) 70's. The day was a success as 51 Players battled for the $5,480 purse at the Ritz-Carlton Member's Club. The Ritz-Carlton, always a player favorite, played very difficult as the winds gusted up to 30 mph making shot selection a necessity. The Tour now heads to the Bayou Club on Thursday as the "Race to the Ritz-Carlton" Q-School Contest continues.
The WFGT would also like to thanks Bogey's Pub for sponsoring the event and providing drinks and food for the players after the round. Players were treated to $200 bar credit for beverages and many food specials at Bogey's Sports Bar. Many of the players took advantage of their hospitality and the evening was a great success. |
