Adam Hogue won his final tune up Monday afternoon at Sara Bay Country Club. His preparation for first stage is now near completion. With a week left of practice, Hogue took advantage of an immaculate golf course and a very difficult set-up Monday to work out some last minute kinks under tournament pressure. He did just that recording a (-5) 67 and a three shot victory over Ben Palanszki and Brian Schmidt. Adam will now join the 50 plus other West Florida Golf Tour members that will compete at 1st stage this week and next.
In the Amateur Division Joey Newell recorded a (+2) 74 to win by one over Ryan Lort. For his efforts, Newell will receive $100 Tour credit. |
