Jared Kobren won his first event on the West Florida Golf Tour Monday afternoon in playoff fashion over Doug Novogrodsky. Both players finished the day with (-3) 69's, which were quite impressive due to the lengthy rain delays and uncertain weather. Kobren, or as his friends call him, "Lord Perm" managed to birdie the fourth playoff home to secure his first professional win.
Also playing well and finishing solo third was Fred Farmer, who continued his consistent play firing a (-2) 70. Next stop, Lake Jovita on Wednesday! |
