James Vargas left little doubt at the Country Club of Winter Haven Monday afternoon by firing a very impressive competitive course record (-10) 62, leaving the rest of the field in his wake. The consistent nine's of 31, 31 were good enough for a four shot victory over Ryan Gildersleeve who's (-6) 66 shouldn't be overlooked.
The win brings Vargas to multiple winner status on the West Florida Golf Tour and also marked the lowest score this winter with a month remaining.
