For the first time ever on the West Florida Golf Tour, two amateurs lead the way and finished in first and second. Edward Figueroa and Osten Waite both finished with a two round total of (-8) 136's and headed to the first hole for a sudden death playoff. And after firing a final round (-9) 63, Figueroa made quick work of Waite in extra holes claiming the title. Both players had a fantastic week and should be commended for their play, but this week belonged to Figueroa, who next week will look to earn a card on the Web.com Tour through second stage of Q-School.
