The West Florida Golf Tour is happy to announce it has teamed up with Bobby Jones Golf Club and Gold Coast Eagle to host a very special WEEKEND EVENT on a course rich with history!    The WFGT and Bobby Jones Golf Club would like to thank Gold Coast Eagle for their continued support for the city of Sarasota and all its Championships!

The Bobby Jones Golf Complex is the only golf course within the city limits of Sarasota, FL and its British course is fit for a Championship of this magnitude after hosting plenty in the previous century. Sarasota's Scott Dunlap and major winner Paul Azinger to name a few, have both won on this famed track.
 
The British Course is a par 72 of 6,850 yards from the back tees and is preferred by the more accomplished golfer. The original Donald Ross design has been maintained with moderately sized elevated greens, manicured approaches, open fairways and multiple bunkers. Many large live oaks, pine stands and palms give definition to the long straight fairways.  Visitors from around the globe have come to tee it up and walk these fairways steeped in golfing history. The current British Course record is 62 set by a local lad, Paul Azinger, in 1980.
